BB-157 Tanker Truck

1934 saw another rise in fuel consumption nationwide, and to help get the gas where it needed to be, Ford had the Tanker Truck. Like every other Ford model that year, it featured a V8 engine rated at over 80 horsepower. Jay Leno started his life-long obsession and passion over classic cars with this truck's close cousin, the 1934 Ford Flatbed.

This model runs 9.25" in length with a full set of accessories included. The doors open to reveal the beautifully reproduced interior with a working steering wheel that turns the front wheels. The model features working a working suspension and accurately portrays the drive train and six-wheeled design, with spare located under the rear.

The back and side compartments open to reveal accurate depictions of the fixtures and accoutrements found on this Tanker Truck, and the engine compartment opens to reveal the exquisitely detailed revised '34 V8, the direct descendant of the landmark 1932 V8.

This model comes in two color variants!
Red and black: A two-tone color scheme featuring a rich red with gloss black fenders, cab, and tanker top.
Blue and silver: A deep dark blue with silver tank, fenders, and accents.
